Bridgeport Bridge to Penn Valley

Climb out of Yuba River wasn't as difficult as I pictured. I had two events on this ride. 1st I dropped a chain while shifting front and back together. I've done this before but this is the first time I couldn't get the chain back on. Eventually did. My hands were black, guess I need to clean my chain. Second on the return descent down to the river, a deer ran in front of me I was going about 25mph. I came within 10 ft of hitting the deer. Sure scarred me and her.
