Rode with Dana, Kyle, Michelle, and Charlie. Dana and Charlie turned back at the top of the big climb and rode back to Taylorsville. The girls and I rode the whole loop.

Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Great Ride! Gravel?
Yeah, it's the 40 mile Bear Growl loop. I rode with a group of friends. Michelle, the gal I've mentioned riding with before, that runs me ragged, killed the QOM on the big climb by over 15 minutes!
Yeah, I've looked at some of her rides. She's a beast. Nice looking too! You rode the Rose on gravel? I thought it was a road bike.
Nah, I rode the Marin. I just hadn't edited my ride and the Rose is my default.
Michelle really struggles on gravel. Today was the first gravel ride she's done without crashing. Last time she rode on gravel she ended up knocked out, face down in the rode.
road...
Man, that would make you not want to come back for more. Glad she had a good experience on this ride.
That was my goal yesterday, to get her through the ride in one piece. When we would get to a nasty section, I'd encourage her to get off her bike and walk it. There's no shame in knowing your limitations.
Good plan. I did that on my first gravel ride. There was so
Plenty of ungood looking road that I definitely did not want to go down on.
That mentality is even more important if you ride alone, as we often do.
I was thinking aboit Michelle going down and being knocked out on a solo ride. You have to know when to put caution in front of pride.
I'm definitely more cautious when I ride alone. You have to be.
