HCMF Meet at The Boot, Houghton.

Simon joined me to ride to the HCMF meet at The Boot at Houghton. I chose to take him over Farley Mount, not sure he was keen on that. However it was a very enjoyable lunch at the pub in their new garden by the river. Lots of shade under the trees. Our only complaint was it was a long way to go to fetch the beer!
Much discussion amongst members about the Festive Lunch. In the end I said I would try and book the Cart & Horses in Kings Worthy.
For our return journey we headed north to Leckford before climbing over the hills to Crawley. I was pretty tired by the time we got back to Alresford. However it was a great day out once again.

    Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices

  • TCX Course

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
