Geneva-Aurora Mixed Road & Trail Ride 9-24-25

Checkpoint. Bright and sunny, cool enough for 'long' wear but still pleasant, very windy again, straight from the West @ 13 mph with gusts up to 27 mph. I cut the ride short by about 10 miles due to time constraints.

Just a few riders out, not many hikers either. Down the FRT from the Geneva Government Center, then rode West on The Virgil Gilman trail and came back on Downer Place to the FRT. This Winter the temps haven't been too bad but the gusty winds are just killer and the ground hasn't dried out enough to mountain bike, although the limestone trails are fine.
