Fahrrad Tour 100k

Couldn't make it to Zoo-de-Mack this year so Lori and I decided to get up early this morning and drive to Frankenmuth for this 100k, 62 mile ride. It was well worth the trip. Excellent, well marked, mostly flat course. Never had to shift out of my 39 tooth chainring. Strong winds from the southwest were nice going out but made the return a bit of a challenge. First time we have ridden around one of the wind turbine farms in Michigan's thumb area. Really liked the mass start at 8am with a loop around Frankenmuth. Temperature was in the low 40's at the start but the day quickly warmed up. This is a ride we would definitely do again!

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
