Perast to Dubrovnik

Day 24 of our Istanbul to Lisbon tour. A beautiful ride along the shore of the coastal inlet, before pressing on inland to the Croatian border. There is a long gap between the Montenegro border exit and Croatia border entry! Roads are very smooth in Croatia. One thing to be wary of, there are NO bike shops we could find in Dubrovnik. Don't make the mistake we did an assume every big city must have one. I'm having to get the assistance of the hotel receptionist's friend's husband to help me replace my disc brake pads (I should've learnt how to do this myself before I left!). Dubrovnik is also a very hilly place and so brakes are particularly important!

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
