HCMF Meet at The Phoenix, Twyford

Both Cycmon & I were up late this morning so were not ready to go to the meet until gone 11 a.m. Still enough time however for a nice country route. First I played postman delivering a book to a friend. For a change our first hill was to The Milbury's and not through Kilmeston. Most of the lane from Lane End towards Upham has been retarmacded. Lovely! THe usual crew pretty much at the pub but with Jean, John and Alf also graciously honouring us with a visit. It is always good to see folk one has not seen for a while. After a delicious fish and chips lunch we returned home a slightly shorter way but just as hilly as our outward trip.

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
