Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

It's warm and turbulent winds. I got out kind of late. At least I was able to sleep in a bit. My right Achilles tendon is a bit sore, since yesterday. I think it got that way from sitting incorrectly in the chair, last night. IE, Indian style on the right leg in the chair. Nevertheless, I got out and did my ride. The legs felt pretty good. The lower back, not so much. Some pains as I was riding, mostly on the left side. Will need to stretch later today. Fortunately, I have just one half century to go, before the GranFondo. Highline was enjoyable. I had a tailwind for most of the return. I was able to put the power down on more than a few occasions. And good push over the top. The remainder was mostly fun and games. Concentration was good. No lapses. Mostly focused. Ailments, as said... right Achile's tendon soreness (not detracting). Left lower back. I'm wanting to say that it was mostly due to the hot weather. (being a shock to the system). Balance and form felt good. Gear is working well. The parent's smartphone worked well with Glympse. Will have to confirm over the next few rides. Other notes, no other cyclists today. No response from GranFondo organizers about the Alpine forest gravel on road situation.
