Sort of a recovery ride. Start from the historic Baker Cabin near the Carver boat launch. The first 6 miles is on Baker's Ferry Rd to Barton and Highway 224. The next 3 miles is on busy 224, but there is a wide shoulder. There is a left-turn at Wildcat Mtn. Rd, which can be sketchy. A turn-lane exists, but need to be careful getting into it. Take Wildcat Mtn. Rd to Eagle Fern Rd and continue to Eagle Fern Park, which makes a good rest stop (mile 14). The next 8 miles has around 800 feet climbing, most on two hills: 1) Snuffin Rd and 2) SE Coupland Rd. The Tumalo Mtn. loop has some rollers in the first half then a long downhill back to Coupland Rd. Then it's another long downhill into Estacada (mile 26). The next several miles is nice, easy spinning. There is one danger spot at Heiple Rd and Highway 224. Use caution crossing 224. The route then goes through the 2020 Dowty Fire scar and the now-defunct Eagle Creek golf course. There is another short, steep hill (13% max grade) just past Bonnie Lure State Park. The final 9 miles is on 224 and back to Baker's Ferry Rd.
