April 13, 2014 Art by Dave P STRAVA link http://www.strava.com/activities/130011735 49.9 miles Drawing Only 56 miles Full Ride I made my plan for this drawing back in March, but I was waiting for better weather and a big enough chunk of time that I could finish the drawing in one ride. This is a BIG BIRD (dinosaur) and it took a big drawing! Its pointed beak is in East Falls Church and its crest is at Dupont Circle. I had to do a GPS pause to connect the crest to the head of my prehistoric flying friend. Its leathery wings stretch from Sleepy Hollow and Seven Corners in Virginia to the other side of Union Station and the Capitol in DC. Its hind feet with sharp talons dangle in Alexandria and a seven mile stretch of King/Rte 7/Leesburg Pike make up the left side.
