Windy City - Meadowbrook - Molalla Loop

A slightly different version of the Windy City - Meadowbrook Ride. Start from Ackerman School in Canby. Instead of riding Mulino Rd opted to ride Canby-Marquam Highway to Kraxberger Rd coming out at Macksburg Rd. Took Macksburg Rd to Highway 213 then north on 213 to Union Mills Rd. Turned off Union Mills Rd at Windy City Rd. Most of the climbing occurs on Windy City Rd and Unger Rd. At mile 18.7 is the turn for Baurer Rd and is also where the 2020 Unger Fire occurred. Nice, long downhill to Highway 211, then it's an easy 6-mile spin to Meadowbrook and the 4-way junction. Continued on 211 to Vaughn Rd then rode Vaughn to N. Molalla Ave and into Molalla. The remainder of the ride is on the usual route back to Ackerman. South to Southwest wind today, which made the final 15 miles a lot easier.

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
