What a day. Looking forward to my first ride up Priests Leap. At the very bottom the rear derailleur got mangled in the spokes, kaput. Walked in cleats almost 6km up Priests, took the chain off at the top and freewheeled down the other side, almost to the main road, where Kevin H effected a rescue and took me into Kenmare by car. Quick bite in Kenmare, then thanks to Micheál I borrowed his second bike and was able to continue on the spin. After the walk and rushed food found it difficult but the group was great up Borlin and on to Keimaneigh. By then I was flagging and running low. Talk about a spin not going to plan, this was meant to be an armchair ride for me today. Kevin H and I continued from Top of Coum, with only a brief stop there, back to the finish. Glad to be done. Priests will be revisited another day ... (the track includes the 10k back to Kenmare in the car, but misses another 10k or so on the bike from Kenmare to near Killorglin). Cycling km was about 172,

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.
