UGRR-2 Day 8 (cycling day 7) Cave-in-Rock IL to Henderson, KY

On my Cannondale road bike. active calories according to Garmin watch c 2133. a couple of miles from the park where we slept we took the ferry crossing the Ohio River back into Kentucky. the following 5 or so miles were very challenging because we have very coarse gravel roads and Road close by equipment and also very high hills. but the landscape after the morning stop and lunch stop was beautiful often next to the river. The city of Henderson KY many looks very nice with many public facilities along the Ohio River and also a bridge. Even when the other parts after the hard first 10 miles were relatively flatter it felt rather hard times because of smaller but frequent ups and downs.

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
