Col Du Glandon loop

Col Du Glandon from Bourg d'Oisans is hard slog with very few switchbacks. Be warned there is a small dip down before ascending again and getting to the scenic high mountain area. Went to St Jean and then Col Du Mollard. The D80 is a nice road and has very little traffic. The ascent from St Jean on the D80 was shaded and very easy grade - don't let the many switchbacks shown on the map deter you. Would recommend over D926 if you have extra time. Col de la Croix de Fer is easier than it looks. The grade in the ski area is the hardest part - although you eyes will tell you something else when you look at what is above you! The elevation gain on this ride is accurate.. our legs felt it too!

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail).
