Postponed to Sunday due to rain on Saturday. A nice day, slightly cool and windy, with pollen in the air, although not the big wafts you often see around this time of year. Mark led us to Wayside Inn grist mill which is the inspiration for Pepperidge Farm logo. I wore my lizard head leggings, which people noticed, others had done a lizard head ride. During the ride my back and hip were fine but near the end when I got off it was pretty sore. I kept up with the front group the whole time except the last five miles around Walden Pond and into Concord finally caught up. I sort of bonked, especially going up Lawsbrook on the way home. My psoas was slightly uncomfortable and my seat was comfortable until the last five miles, could feel a little discomfort, not pain on the sit bones, more like I wish I had more lubricant in there. This was a sneaky hilly ride, and the wind was always in our faces it seemed!
