Palos Hills MTB Ride 6-03-25

Fuel EX 9.8. Mostly sunny, warm - 74 at roll time, up to 86 by ride's end, Southerly winds 8-14 mph with gusts up to 28, but mostly blocked by the woods. It was a gorgeous Spring morning, rain moved in around 2:00 pm and then again overnight.

Trails were perfect, moist and tacky. Pretty good turnout, I saw about a dozen other riders and one solitary deer. Great route across Stonehouse and most of the trails in the Palo Triangle. Good long ride approaching 22 miles and right at 3 hours ride time. As usual, lots of punchy climbing.

Stopped for a salad lunch at the Irish Legend then met Andrew for a couple of pops at the Geneva Alehouse.

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail).
