Great divide day 6

Grants to Cuba, New Mexico. Zero day yesterday because of heavy rain. Road on pavement today since Scrabble would have turned into peanut butter. Tomorrow’s forecast is for more rain so I wanted to get to Cuba in a day. One of my longest day rides with full provisions on bike. Tomorrow with rain, may stay on road to get to Aboquiu.

My legs are feeling pretty good, the silicone lube on the chain Rose noise. So I’m pretty well set. Today was 4% of the total ride distance with about 20% complete.

The landscape is getting more interesting with exposed rocks and sandstone and red bands.Should be getting more spectacular further north I go.
