Emonda. Sunny, brisk - in the 50's, stiff wind out (8-10 mph) but it died down to <5 mph by about half way back. Dressed perfectly, never cold and even worked up a little sweat. Basically a long time trial - pushed it to achieve 17 mph average at the turnaround point just West of Creston, finished with a strong 18.7 mph average. WInd direction also shifted from WNW out to West by Creston and finally WSW on the last leg down McGirr/Main St. Gorgeous day and a good ride, especially the last 25 miles, which was mostly flat to down hill and very fast. Easily averaged +21 mph on Perry and McGirr/Main. Even drafted a tractor for about 2-1/2 miles on Gurler, which was a blast @ a steady 23 mph. I'll be picking crop dust out of my hair and teeth for a week.
