Pontevedra to Santiago de Compostela

Took an alternate route to that proposed by our lovely Aussie sheila's suggestion on RideGPS and so glad we did. Vilagarcia on the edge of a large harbour was superb as were the road surfaces. As we have neared Santiago the odd sitings of 'piligrims' on the caminhos became a trickle and then a stream culminating in a crowd in and around the cathedral that resembled a pre All Black test gathering. A lovely sight to see everyone celebrate the end of their various 'journeys'
Will take another day off tomorrow and enjoy the sights

Yeeeesss...but in saying that it's incredible how much time, effort and resources have gone in to building these structures over the centuries...and yes they are everywhere. Google photos is starting to album them 😅

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
