Titled after the third track on Boz Scaggs' 2015 record "A Fool To Care" (the song on which he duets with the fabulous Bonnie Raitt), this is the third trek in the AFTC series. Met up with K-Man Group in the morning (as I was later arriving to parking lot than normal), but skedaddled out on route before they started; it wasn't long before they caught up and passed (on the first real incline at about mile 6). Even though I saw major segment of group paused at various points and subsequently passed again, I did feel like my 12 mph was in some form of conjunction with their 16 mph touring speed. Making the left onto 41 from Cripple Creek, one of the riders I know did inquire how I was faring as I was stopped there to change out layers. 41 itself is such a pristine roadway.
