Took this route from the Portland Bike Club. It was a ride scheduled for June 17, that just happened to cover my potential route to NWCC. The ride starts at Stringfield Family Park in Milwaukie. First time visiting the park. The route starts on the Trolley Trail. Have never ridden it and didn't even know it existed. At mile 1.3 the trail temporarily ends. The route continues on SE Arista Dr. to Courtney Ave, where the trail resumes. At mile 3.8 the course veers onto SE 17th Ave in Milwaukie and continues to St. Andrews Dr. This is the first somewhat tricky spot. Turn left onto St. Andrews Dr then veer right onto SE Andover Pl. The Springwater Trail starts at mile 5.0. This section of the Springwater is quite nice, a lot smoother than the eastbound trail. The trail goes under the Sellwood Bridge then by Oaks Park and Oaks Bottom. Continue under the Ross Island Bridge. The trail ends at SE Division Pl., mile 8.8. Turn left onto SE Caruthers St and ride through OMSI to catch the Tillikum Crossing. Have never ridden that, either. Follow the green bike lane onto S. Moody Ave then veer left at S. Porter St. Do not stay on Moody. Cross Harbor Dr. at Harrison. NWCC is about 1/4 mile north on Harrison. The work bike commute would start at the Oak Grove Parking garage off Park Ave. in Milwaukie. NWCC is at mile 10.25 on this route. The next section goes through downtown Portland (The PSU section) by utilizing Broadway and SW 6th Ave. There is a decent bike lane through this part. The Terwilliger section is fairly convoluted. There is a gradual climb to the Terwilliger Parkway then a nice downhill to Capiltal Highway. Continue on Terwilliger, crossing Barbur Blvd. The route gets off Terwilliger at SW 6th Ave and meanders through a residential area and returns to Terwilliger at SW Taylors Ferry Rd. The route gets off Terwilliger at SW Primrose St and takes SW Palatine Rd to S. Riverside St and then gets back on Terwilliger just north of the Tryon Creek Park boundary.
Continue on Terwilliger into Lake Oswego. Garmin was showing cues off Terwilliger, but these were incorrect. The route goes through Lake Oswego, but avoids Highway 43, or State St. by using residential streets to reach George Rogers Park. There is a multi-use path to Old River Rd. This is a nice, quiet piece that comes out on Highway 43 near Mary S. Young Park. Ride the bike path to Mark Lane. The route takes several residential streets to the light at West A Street. Cross 43 and ride A Street to Willamette Falls Dr. Cross the Oregon City bridge. The next part goes around Oregon City via Main St. to the Clackamas River bike path into Gladstone. The Trolley Trail parallels Abernathy Ave. to Jennings. Cross 99E at Jennings and pick up the trail at SE Arista Dr. Lots of stops and starts on this route. Not fond of urban rides and likely won't do this loop again. But, it was a good test for upcoming bike commuting to NWCC.

Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
