Day 26 - SE Calgary to Drumheller.

Had a very warm send-off from our friends Arin, Zoe, Olivia & Owen in SE Calgary. Quickly got off the road and onto Canal Pathways, then onto our first taste of rural roads. Rode the Meadowlark gravel Trail through Irricana and into Beiseker, which a avoided the Hwy and had a quick grocery store lunch in Irricana. Rode Hwy 5, until the last 10km or so, and onto a nice but muddy dirt road and descended down this into Newcastle and rode to Drumheller.

Took a rest day due to the storm and wind in Drumheller. Brad and Jordan drove down to meet us and take us to the Royal Tyrrell Museum in Drum, spent a good 3.5hrs and then had some Pho Dinosaur. A great day and thanks to Brad & Jordan!

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
