Breakfast in Berlin

Beautiful June morning. Another Saturday breakfast ride. The Garmin 540 somehow lost my ride TO the Palace Diner, so I only show the return here. That is a problem with the 500 series Garmins - too many buttons. I wanted a button device to supplement my touch-screen 840, which is not user-friendly in colder weather when I am wearing full-finger gloves (sometimes under mittens). With the 540, seems like everywhere you touch the thing you are touching one of the many buttons, which I guess is how I inadvertently deleted my ride TO the diner today.
On the return, some jayzer on an ebike riding against traffic came riding by between me stopped on the shoulder and the cars to my left also waiting for the light to change. The jayzer briefly made eye contact with me, and I believe he saw my disdain.
Saw this Tom (jake). and felt thirsty.

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
