Bugger !! I've done a Bill and deleted yesterday's ride so that's 100 odd km's I'll never see again! Wonderful elevated coastline ride before dropping on to the flats and into Barcelona...it's rather large..seemingly taking forever to get into the center then off to do some Gaudi spotting. Obviously the Sagrada Familia is impressive but no chance of getting inside as half of Europe had turned up as well..sold out at the Parc Guell too (after climbing the hill). Salubrious camping pozzie found as heading out of the built up area
.. can't figure out why no one else was there..then off early in the morning to beat the sun but not the literally 100's of roadies out for their early morning ride (Buy a bike shop!!)
First half of the ride along the coast before heading inland making Girona at lunch time..the Med coast was great but just soooo busy and developed..the inland route much more laid back. Scored accommodation at the Uni halls as it's summer holidays..a win there.. and a bed!!
