2025-06-29 BUMC-City Park Tour du Café

Cool June Sunday, meaning showers all around. Managed to avoid the 2” rain by sheltering at Trinity Episcopal church. Rode solo to the park, then joined by Jane and David.

Looked for the eagles south of Farr Park, but the only signs of life in the dead tree supporting the nest were shrubs growing in the nest.

Stopped for coffee at Garden District and they had the “usual” frozen lemonade and double espresso ready to go. 😊

David took the hit for riding on a rainy day by getting a flat while enjoying coffee. ☹️

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
