A lovely cycle . I arrived about 11.10AM and had a cuppa in Avondale which was just all right so it was not till half past that I really started. So the two rivers connect much earlier than I thought ad I thought with a bit of luck I might have dinner in Arklow but I actually had it in Gorey in this fairly dirty place but it filled me up definitly . But the cycle was lovely and I think the next time I am doing it will try not to be on the main roads so muck and also , maybe an earlier train but that might be a bit too early for my liking . I arrived in Enniscorthy about an hour too early so I had a walk around and I met this lad who was , like myself, an amateur , and a small bit younger. So we have arranged to meet the next time I am there ! Talk about the Irish welcome . When in the station this foreigner from America asked was this the train for Dublin to which I replied Yes . But later on he asked the few passengers who were there which platform should we be on , so with confidence we all said that we were on the right one . This young lady confirms that , explaining the intricicies of the direction of the train. So the train arrives . On the far side , so we all had to move sides!!!! When I was leaving Gorey with a very full belly I decided to go home cos I was full of chips and lasagne - too much in fact ,but there was no earlier one , so Enniscorthy it was .
