302K/187.8 mile ride around the perimeter of Rhode Island, excluding Aquidneck and Newport (did that section back in August of 2012- http://ridewithgps.com/trips/3074704 ) with a short hop into Stonington proper at the very end.
Started the day at 4:50 AM and ended it at 7:35 PM
Rode 3 sections of dirt on the RICONN border and a 1.8 miles of singletrack in Dudley State Forest on the Massachusetts border
Consumed 8 packages of Chock block, 8 bottle Skratch labs electrolotye mix, 2 bottles gatorade and 4 "king size" Snickers peanut butter bars, a large HI-C red fountain drink from Cumbies and a granola bar that's been getting hauled around for the last 500 miles. I gave up on the nutter butters that have been in the bag for the last 1500 miles.
Mechanical problems for the day were limited to a busted water cap (bottle ejected on a section of milled road in the last 5 miles). The Edge 810 gps actually managed to stay on for the entire ride and the Planet Earth (typed "planet express" on the first attempt. yup im tired) worked rather nicely for food, 4 Ah battery charger brick and the spare GPS since the Edge has been spotty as hell on rides as of late.

Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.
