Reims to Chenieres

With a lovely evening meal and great nights sleep hit the road as my hosts left for work.
The skies cleared to an excellent day not too hot with a favorable wee breeze and rolling terrain. Farmers flat out cutting Lucerne heading wheat and linseed and baling straw. Finally some fences and some of the best Charolais cattle and calves I've ever seen.
Stopped at the village of Montfaucon with a terrible history of conflict and a very good little museum of WW1 artifacts, displays and history. Again plenty of pause for thought with several more soldiers cemeteries.
Fantastic evening...so just kept biking !!

lots of great memories and looking back on some sad ones as well . take care lots of love. Jo and Graeme are back and they came over. yesterday.. they had a great time as well. and will have lots of stories to tell
