Rainy ride to Funks Grove

We did not get rain until we made it to the chapel at Funk Grove. Then we had an issue of trying to go a little bit west to the radio control airplane field where we stayed in their shelter. Then we wrote into Shirley and went in Josh‘s shed For a while. I put away my GPS during this ride because it’s really not waterproof for me. We rode quite a while in the rain. There was some lightning too, which was the biggest concern.
Saturday, August 16 about 10 AM out at the airfield on 600 North Rd. there will be a flying day for the model airplanes. We might try to ride out there that day. See the photo for details.

    Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices

  • TCX Course

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
