Strong tide against us at the start( 9:00 AM) with the result that we actually lost ground for the first hour or so. Then still very slow going until after noon when the tide changed in our favor and we got to fly the last bit. Stopped for lunch at TugBoat Annies just before 2 and finished at Sharky's in Ladner just before 5.

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

That's so cool! When packrafting, I suppose you're planning around the tides ... what kind of current were you able to harness ? Have you thought of packing your bikes on and biking home with the rafts? ?
Thanks should probably considered the tides even more than we did as we lost ground over the first hour or so. But once the tide turned in our favour we flew. Yes thinking about taking bikes with us in the future
That's awesome! Let me know if you're ever looking for an adventure partner ... I'm an avid kayaker and cycle tourer / bikepacker :)
Great to see some packrafting routes on here. Would be great to get a big group bikerafting in Vancouver. Let me know if you'd be interested.
Got the tide wrong for the first hour and made negative progress but then we flew once we had the tide behind us. Did one trip with a bike and it was fine but if public transit is readily available then nice to use it
