This was a really great cycle and much further than I thought it would be . I had sort of half intended to go as far as Naas but I went as far as Kildare . I was tired after it all , but naturally tired . I had not really gone for two weeks as the last cycle I had done had been a disaster where I went to Longford (see last week) .Anyhow I always thought that you could not cycle as far as Sallins along by the canal , but now you can as they have extended the cycle track along the canal as far as Sallins . They are also in the process of putting paving from the 12th Lock to Hazelhatch . When thats done you will be able to go from Inchicore to Sallins along the canal. I kept as much off the main lines as possible and succeeded 95% so it was a lovely cycle . Jen is more than capable to come to Naas with me and then get the train back .
