A chilly grey day, low cloud and mist. Andrew joined me on a ride to C.P. where we met 5 other Pedallers. We decide to head for the Apache Cafe in the Army Flying Museum. We thought it might be closed as the museum is closed for refurbishment at present but luckily it was not. I managed my E power carefully as I knew Andrew and I would be doing about 50 miles, so I turned off the power when I didn't really need it. My ploy worked well with over 44 miles covered before I had used 50%.
Some most enjoyable craic at our stop discussing family ancestors, football, motorcaravanning, art & films as well as cycling! I was glad when I finally got home as the cold damp weather made me feel colder than I was last week when the temperature was actually about 5 deg C lower. I enjoyed a warming cuppa and a hot shower before cooking myself high tea as I'd only had a snack eat the coffee stop.
