An absolutely lovely cycle along the River Barrow , one of Na Triur Dreifuireacha . It was really lovely cycling along in the silence of the river able to see all the dragon-flies and birds and little pinkeens . Of course Eagle Eye (Benicio) could see all of these things much more clearly that I could . We had a lovely meal in St Mullins which was really lovely and very filling . If I had even cider i would not be able to go back on the bike , as I would be falling asleep . But it was peace personified . You could not ask for better forms of heaven . Jennifers rear end was very sore and I found the surface on which you cycled quite resistant as it was on grass or gravel . I could not have bruoght the other bike , the racer , as it would be impossible to go on the surface . But but but .......the day before we had tried to go behing Cormac and Co to the town , but the car would not effing start again so Cormac found some garage which was not closing until about 4PM so we were OK . John the proprieter gave us his tractor lead which he connected to his car and then ours which then started . So to make a long story very short we then bought (€157-00) a new battery which started OK from then on. The same situation happened with Alex and with Cormacs cars - the battery had to be changed . So Battery and Company sold 3 batteries to the one family .
