At 10 this morning, the temp and dewpoint were 77!!!! Sucky weather for one of the suckiest weeks ever. Blaze got sick a week or so ago, with seizures, and bloody diarrhea. For at least half of this hellacious period, on and off, it seemed to all concerned that he was dying. We were all preparing our good-byes when suddenly, upon Gina’s return from Astoria last night, the little guy snapped out of it and seemed to have made an instantaneous and miraculous recovery! Just when all seemed right with the world, at least in our tranquil corner, Blaze started yelping, as if in pain or fearful distress. This continued until the wee small hours of the morning, disrupting everyone’s sleep. At least this solo ride went well in spite of hideously elevated dewpoints remaining in the upper seventies, temps in the eighties, and partly cloudy skies. The NE wins were moderate enough not to be of much impediment.
