Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

Today's weather was warm but comfortable. The winds, however, were turbulent. It was unusual as I went out and back from Willow Springs, nor a head, tail, or cross exclusively. My legs felt pretty good from the get go. I was able to get sufficiently warmed up by the time I reached the end of OTR. Highline felt weird because of the wind wasn't constant. I decided not to push the pace going out. Instead, I decided to keep it moderate and work on my balance. The return trip was different. I lifted the pace between moderate and high tempo. I think the wind was a bit more cooperative, but still unpredictable on the return trip. I decided to add Banducci to the ride to get a bit more mileage and climbing into the ride. I'm planning on doing a double if not triple this weekend, but it all comes down to one stupid thing, saddle sores. It felt bad today, but not so much that I had to cut my ride short. Concentration was good. I was constantly adjusting my tempo, watching for road debris, working on balance. Balance was so so. It could have been much better, I just didn't get that fluid sensation. It was more prominent on the outbound leg, and better on the return from Willow Springs. Gear is working well, but I detected some odd swishing noise come from one of my wheels. I'm not sure if it's front or back, but it almost sounds like the wheel was rubbing against the brake pad as I was getting out of the saddle and pushing hard. More on that later. Other notes, I ordered a bunch of stuff, the greater being a set of rollers. Hopefully I can use them to better adjust my shoes and cleats in the goal to get the best balance as possible. My fingers are crossed.
