On August 31, 2025, Cody and I went on an exciting biking trip from South Whittier all the way to Newport Beach. We started early on the Greenway Trail, passing through quiet streets and trees in Whittier. Then we joined the San Gabriel River Trail, riding through Pico Rivera, Downey, and Norwalk. The morning air felt fresh as we followed the river toward Long Beach, where we could finally see the ocean shining in the distance. From there, we rode along the Beach Bike Path through Seal Beach and Huntington Beach, feeling the cool wind and hearing the waves beside us. After 32.7 miles of fun, laughter, and teamwork, we finally reached Peet’s Coffee in Newport Beach. We sat down, tired but proud, sipping our drinks and smiling — we had done it again!
