Fuel EX 9.8. Partly sunny with high fluffy clouds so still very bright, cooler - high 50's into the mid 60's, West winds @ 10 mph with gusts up to 20 mph. I saw 3-4 other mountain bikers on the trails, the parking lot was pretty packed by ride's end. I also saw 4 deer, including a doe with fawn that had lost most of it's spots. A short section of trail (0.8 miles) was added West of the paved trail in the NW quadrant, so it eliminates part of the pavement going North and South, or it can be used as a return cutting out the upper section along Algonquin Rd. I rode it twice to check it out, still rough, will need a lot of traffic to break it in. Several punchy climbs for such a shot section, a welcome addition to the West side trails. My legs were tired from yesterday's 3+ hour long trail ride so I only put in about 2 hours today, all on the West trails. Stopped at The Assembly for lunch, had a nice Tilapia bowl.
