The Bikin' Brothers went to Gaff Park in Rome City IN to ride theFishing Line Trail SE to the American Windmill Museum in Kendallville. A bit of a chill at our 9AM start, but low wind help, and by halfway, we were shedding layers. Fourteen total Brothers enjoyed this ride. As always, our turnaround was at the Windmill Museum where Pam Younce, a curator, blessed us with their hospitality by having donuts, I mean power bars, for us! 😆 We tried a new route around the south side of Bixler Lake but turned around because it wasn't paved and more of a walking path. On our return to Rome City, we had a great lunch with excellent service at the Sylvan Shores Diner. Once done, we rode a few more miles to go through the Our Lady, Patroness of America Center complex, which has a most unusual history, including being a sanatorium. We rode to get ice cream at Lickity Splitz! stay safe everyone!
