Fuel EX 9.8. Mostly bright & sunny with occasional high clouds, 62 degrees at the start, up to 71 at the finish, Southerly winds @ 3-5 mph with gusts up to10 mph, lower humidity, overall a gorgeous perfect Fall day. I saw no other riders out on the trails and only a few hikers. I did see 8 deer, including a very young first year buck with only 2 antlers, a group of 6 does and fawns and lastly an 8 point buck. Trails were perfect, dry and dusty, plenty of grip. Surprisingly, legs felt great even after hard road intervals yesterday, finished the ride with almost a 9.0 mph avg speed and close to a thousand feet of climbing. I rode mostly on the West side, including on the new trail section going in the opposite direction from the other day. I did pop over to do the loop around the NE quadrant and at the end a short loop at the beginning of the SE quadrant to break 18 miles. Stopped by the Assembly for a light lunch.
