Stayed at camp rainbow fall State Park an additional night to align with my train departure ticket. They have three designated hike, bike spots and showers for today. It rained last night and a little in the morning and as of 2:30 PM hasn’t rained since about 9 AM. I used the time to view the rainbow Falls and was planning to go over and do the hiking trails however I noticed there was no way to get there and I saw the old foundation for a bridge. Apparently the bridge was washed away in a flood in 2007 so the only way to get to it is by the road. I want to walk to the trails but each way on the road was about 2 miles so that would add about 4 miles plus the hiking trail. I decided to ride my bike over to the trails instead. Since it appeared, that biking was allowed I went ahead and bike the trail as well. It was quite steep in parts and mostly rideable with a few more difficult root cover areas. My rear tire has been losing air and I had to add air before the ride. It was pretty low. I’m debating whether to just go ahead and change it or just put air in the morning and ride to the train.
