2025/09/16 SARRC Burra -Porter Lagoon Loop

A much cooler day than the last two after the cool change came in last night. 3mm of rain overnight wasn't enough to make the gravel roads nor the undressed red tracks too muddy for us. We had a nice following tail wind for the first 15km as the North westerly was funneled between the ridges. However as we turned westward at the end of the ridge towards the Lagoon we met with direct head winds gusting up to 54km/hr. Ron earned some real brownie points with his E-bike over the next 15km as he acted as wind break for several following manual riders. We then turned to the north and eventually towards the north east where we picked up a strong tail wind and for a couple of kms we flew along at 40km/hr.

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail).
