Waterfall Corridor - Bridal Veil Start

Optimum day to do the Waterfall Corridor. Breezy east wind yesterday (Tuesday), but just light east wind to start. Definitely hazy/smokey with high-level drift smoke. Needed to do this one as the historic highway will close just past Multnomah Falls on Oct 1. Started from Bridal Veil State Park. Decided to head west to Vista House (4.5 miles). Turned around (road closed just past Vista House to the Larch Mountain Rd junction) and went east to Cascade Locks. The bike path section from the underpass near Bonneville into Cascade Locks has gotten worse due to tree root damage. Need to go slow, even downhill, to avoid getting knocked off the bike. Did the short Cascade Locks loop, riding Forest Lane to the bridge over 84 and then back on Frontage Rd into Cascade Locks. Returned to Bridal Veil.

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
