We left home at 10 instead of 7 due to morning rain. No rain on the ride but cloudy, cool and windy.
I made it 1 1/2 mi beyond last week when we turned around at Middle Bear. I managed to get to the Manzanita Viewpoint past MP 13 just in sight of Windy Point. Maybe next time?!
I'm still feeling the VF but that's normal this early in the healing. I hope my energy returns to closer to what it used to be. I was whooped by the time we turned around.
Larry gets his workout on the way down; not up. He leads all the way down and I sprint to stay on his wheel. Then I can catch my breath until his next strong move. Very fun down except for the cold today. I had some slightly numb fingers on the decent.
I tried hard to stay out of zone 5 and was mostly successful.
My new ISM bike seat was wonderful. I plan to take it to the Alps this summer. No prostate issues whatsoever. Way comfortable!
Same for my new Trek Spectre helmet. It is wonderfully comfortable and has technology way beyond MIPS so I'm safer now.

Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.
