Great day to head south and continue my week of rediscovery of my routes, since my return from the month in WI. So far, each day I have done a different route. Started on out to Estrella and opted to go up Cotton instead of Estrella Pkwy. Got hooked in with some pretty good riders and went up the little climbs to the round-a-bout pretty fast. Then I slowed down as I rode toward Rainbow Valley. Then back north again toward Skyline. Great day to climb the hill. Lots of cars in the parking lot as they too like the cooler weather. Then the downhill. And I started wondering where the Saturday WVC group might be at this time. When I got up to Basha's in Verrado, there were the remnants of WVC Saturday ride, meaning mostly only A group. So I quickly got back on the bike and rode out with them. Then as we got down around to Camelback, I was not able to hang-on since the change to my cassette and losing my smallest sprocket. UGH. It was fun while it lasted. Nice ride, but I forgot to take at least 1 picture.
