The inaugural edition of the Gravel Revival! This was a weekend long event with rides Saturday and Sunday of varying lengths and difficulty. They were well marked as well as supplying the ride with GPS ROUTES. Dinner Saturday night, good music, GOOD BEER AND CAMPING...with several shower houses as well as a mess hall and a 6-7 acre lake! If you like riding gravel, Hickman County is beautiful and unique. Do this ride next year if you can!
This was the inaugural edition of the Gravel Revival, a great event! The gravel and scenery in Hickman County is fantastic
This was a first rate event out on by the folks at MOAB Bike Shop. The found a venue for camping that had multiple shower buildings and has a Mess Hall, also a 6-7 acre Lake. The route was challenging and interesting. There were steep climbs, some very rugged, gorgeous views, creek crossings, a community of “Believers in Christ” (Mennonites?), Rockin descents. I don’t think I’ve had better food, beer or swag, ever at an event. They knocked this one out of the park. If you can make it next year, do it! You’ll enjoy yourself‼️
This was the inaugural edition of the Gravel Revival, showcasing the fine gravel roads and scenery of Hickman County, TN. A big thanks to the folks at MOAB Bike Shop for putting this together! The held it at Lehman’s Lake and Campground, a perfect base for the event. For the price of a two day ticket you got two nights of camping, dinner Saturday, a full and delicious breakfast Sunday, then delicious burritos post ride on Sunday. Along with that they had the best swag I’ve ever received at an event (t-shirt, stainless cup, Swift-wick socks, and a little back-pack to carry it all. Finally they had a great raffle at the end! Many bike industry reps were present and displaying their goods; namely Salsa and Moots. A great event...if you enjoy gravel riding this is a must do! If you want to try this track, go prepared and have fun! You’ll as usual want to be well prepared. No stores along the way, so take a filter or plenty of water along with food.
