Felt good...especially in the longer, endurance tests, and at the end of the race, although the race distance was admittedly very short (43 race miles). 4/20 Open B, 5/77 OAB. There were definitely some challenges with the course markings, and I ran into a couple self-induced hiccups along the way, too: Test 1: got pretty majorily slowed up by a dude I caught half-way through the test...wouldn't move over. Test 2: Started with an extremely narrow ~2.3 mi canyon. Came up on Chrissy Altomare, who had her bike completely beached on the first big step up. No way around, so I had to get off & help her get her bike up (stationary 40s). Test 4: Lost clutch ~2/3 of the way through test. Luckily the Rekluse saved me. Rode back to pit (added 17 mi!) to fill clutch reservoir before test 5. Test 5: Fell & rolled in cactus. Probably only lost ~10s.
