Bl00dy awesome last gravel ride. Nice and steady out to lunch - then MENTAL most of the way back! May have stacked it with 1.8km to go and brought Victoria Mannakee down with me (I’ll do anything for a cuddle) but that didn’t spoil another great gravel day.
Once again I’ve been pushed beyond my limits over the last 10 days and once again I’ve enjoyed every second ❤️
With a wet start to Sunday, let’s have a leisurely breakfast and coffee club with the view to setting off when the rain stops at 11am. We have plenty of time to ride and get back to drop the bikes off at 5pm.
Today’s planned route features a rough climb and a long, loose, hairpin descent which may be dangerous in the wet.
Instead, we’re heading to the coast on an alternative route that is 99% hard-packed champagne Girona gravel tracks and via verda (ignore the ridewithgpx stats that interprets the via verda into lunch as tarmac). Nothing on this route is technical or loose and there’s no major descents.

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
