Palos Hills MTB Ride 10-30-25

Fuel EX 9.8. Partly cloudy, cool - mid 40's at the start, warmed up to around 54 by the end, wind not a factor in the woods. Only saw 2 riders up until the last 1/2 or so, an easy dozen overall plus maybe 6-7 hikers and runners. Came upon a coyote on the trail and scared the bejeezus out of him as he was facing the other way. He already had his fluffy winter coat.

Trails were perfect, mostly tacky and dry. Hard ride with all the climbing and my average speed reflects it. Fall colors in the woods were gorgeous.

Quick stop at the Irish Legend for a some hot chili to warm up.

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
