started a half hour later than I was aiming for, immediately regretted not wearing long sleeves but was glad i at least brought gloves even if they weren't the pair i like.
had less than an hour of sunlight but had my kogalla lamp. Saw deer on the trail on Rattler but they were kind enough to move out of my way. Saw lights from a few cyclists in the distance in corner canyon but didn't cross paths with anyone. Missed the turn onto Phantom and had a little setback there that put me 4 minutes behind my goal. It was hard to follow the trail in a few places from the ground leaves and the dark.
Listened to Harry potter and the half blood prince on speaker to keep me company. Last 6 miles were rough especially having done Peakview yesterday but i'll take the 11:39 improvement
