Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

I went on a solo ride today in the late afternoon. The weather was a little on the hot side, 85ish. I felt good the whole way. Relaxing on the way out and good tempo on the way back. No ailments other than the heat, which is expected. I gave a good sprint over the top. Roger couldn't go riding today. We plan on riding on Wednesday. After that, the next ride would be Friday. Which means, Sunday would follow that ride at the soonest. Peggy and Rob get here on Saturday, which would be their rest day. Realistically, Monday would be the ideal time to ride. I'm still debating whether to do the Caliente route, or maybe the Stallion Springs loop. In any case, I get the stuff Peggy ordered from Performance tomorrow, so I'll likely install it around Thursday. My bike continues to work well. The tires feel great.
